It’s only been about seven months since STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS hit theaters. Ever since that point, we’ve lived in a world where, for the foreseeable future, we’d never be wanting for STAR WARS movies. Coming this December is ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, and almost a year to the day after, we’ll have STAR WARS EPISODE VIII in theaters.
Now, thanks to a recent tweet from the official STAR WARS Twitter account, it looks like the production has officially wrapped. In the tweet, they have a short video showing them marking the final slate of the final shot of principal photography.

This July 22 wrap confirms Mark Hamill’s earlier claims that the production would wrap on said date, and brings us one step closer to experiencing the continuation of THE FORCE AWAKENS.
