HBO is throwing a party in Los Angeles and you’re invited.
In celebration of the first season of INSECURE, HBO will host a party at West Hollywood’s The Den on Sunset from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10 for happy hour. The Den is located at 8226 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
The cost is $10 for the drinks each and tell them LRM sent you there. All other fun activities are free.
The special happy hour menu will include series-themed cocktails. Here are the following drinks:
Bish Please – Rasberry Vodka, simple syrup, fresh lemon and lime juice, dash of cherry syrup, topped with seltzer. Served in a rocks glass and garnished with two maraschino cherries.
Boozy AF – Tequila, house made grapefruit simple syrup, grapefruit soda. Served in a tumbler and garnished with a fresh grapefruit wedge.
Insecuri-tea – Bourbon, sweat tea vodka, fresh orange juice. Shaken and strained in a Martini glass and garnished with orange peel zest.
In addition, they will be playing tracks from the official RCA Records soundtrack MUSIC FROM THE HBO ORIGINAL SERIES INSECUREand there will be fun photo booth opportunities. C’mon, who doesn’t like photo booths.
The first 20 people to order Insecure-style drink at the event will receive a free digital copy of INSECURE: SEASON ONE and the complete soundtrack. So, start your happy hour early.
The series is created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore. The comedy explores the black female experience. During the season, Issa attempts to figure out what she wants out of life and how to take control of it, while fumbling her way through this journey. Molly, a corporate attorney who appears to have everything together professionally, struggles inside as she looks for external ways to fix her life.
