Dreamcatcher from Samuel Goldwyn Films will be available On Digital and On Demand this Friday, March 5th. This horror/thriller film takes a new look at the ever so popular sub-horror genre of slasher films. The writer and director, Jacob Johnston wanted to make sure that his characters in Dreamcatcher did not feel like they were easily expendable. They are not just pieces of meat for the killer to stab.
In Dreamcatcher we find characters that are pursuing something that they cannot have. They battle with past traumas and question their identities at times. The film stars Nikki Koss, Zachary Gordon, Travis Burns, Blaine Kern III, Olivia Sui, Emrhys Cooper, Elizabeth Posey, Nazanin Mandi, Adrienne Wilkinson, and Lou Ferrigno Jr.
Here is the synopsis for Dreamcatcher:
Dylan, known to his fans as DJ Dreamcatcher, is on the brink of global stardom. Everything changes the night of Cataclysm, an underground music festival, where two estranged sisters and their friends meet Dylan. After a drug fueled gruesome event, things begin to spiral into a 48-hour whirlwind of violence and mayhem.

While Dylan is the star as DJ Dreamcatcher, there is another character whose success depends on him continuing to rise. That would be Josephine, played by Wilkinson. She has worked her entire life to be able to have the opportunity to represent a client of that magnitude. With that being her whole life, how far is she willing to go to protect her “golden egg”?
Ahead of it’s release, LRM Online had the opportunity to talk with Adrienne Wilkinson about her character and the film. During our conversation, we talk about Josephine’s personality and her motivations. We also talk about her thoughts on the design of the DJ Dreamcatcher character. As well as filming in a fake EDM underground event called Cataclysm. Be sure to check it out down below!
