The Anne Rice Immortal Universe brought its signature blend of the supernatural, the seductive, and the sensational to Comic-Con International, taking over Ballroom 20 with back to back panels for AMC’s upcoming series Anne Rice’s Talamasca and the highly anticipated new season of Interview with the Vampire — officially titled Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat.
Moderated by TV Guide Magazine’s Damian Holbrook, the immersive event kicked off with the debut panel for Anne Rice’s Talamasca, offering fans their first deep dive into AMC’s newest expansion of the Rice universe. Executive Producer Mark Johnson, who oversees the entire Immortal Universe, was joined by series showrunners and executive producers John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty, as well as cast members Nicholas Denton (“Guy Anatole”), William Fichtner (“Jasper”), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Olive”), and Celine Buckens (“Doris”).

In a series of first-look reveals, the Talamasca team unveiled the official teaser trailer, a never-before-seen clip from the premiere episode, and confirmed that the series will debut Sunday, October 26 at 9PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. As if that wasn’t enough to stir the coven, fans erupted at the surprise appearance of Interview with the Vampire star Eric Bogosian, who portrays the sharp-tongued journalist Daniel Molloy. Bogosian confirmed he will reprise his role in Talamasca as a crossover guest star, bridging both series within the shared universe.
Following the excitement of Talamasca, the stage shifted to vampires and rock stars with a panel for Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, diving into the upcoming season of the Emmy-nominated Interview with the Vampire. Panelists included Johnson, showrunner and executive producer Rolin Jones, series composer Daniel Hart, and returning stars Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac), and Eric Bogosian.
Fans were treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and newly released stills of Lestat in full rock god mode—teasing the music-driven evolution of the new season.
