Angel Studios, the renowned studio and distributor celebrated for the global blockbuster SOUND OF FREEDOM, is gearing up to take audiences on a thrilling ride with the upcoming theatrical release of its first-ever Angel Original film, The Shift, scheduled for December 1, 2023. This ambitious sci-fi thriller boasts an ensemble cast featuring Neal McDonough, Sean Astin, Kristoffer Polaha, Liz Tabish, Paras Patel, and Rose Reid. Written and directed by Brock Heasley and produced by Ken Carpenter’s Nook Lane Entertainment.

The film’s storyline revolves around Kevin Garner, portrayed by Kristoffer Polaha, who finds himself entangled with a mysterious adversary known as The Benefactor, played by Neal McDonough. When Kevin rejects The Benefactor’s tempting offer of wealth and power, he is thrust into an alternate totalitarian regime where he embarks on a journey through infinite worlds, facing impossible choices as he endeavors to reunite with the woman he loves, portrayed by Liz Tabish.
