Last week, we reported on a rumor from the folks over at MCU Cosmic. The rumor stated that “someone high up” at Marvel wanted to see Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox reprise their roles as Jessica Jones and Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper (aka the movies and Disney+ shows) — something that many of us here at LRM Online would LOVE to see.
However, as with all rumors, you need to take it with a grain of salt, though occasionally, you do get multiple sources confirming the same thing, and it does lead to certain rumors becoming just a little bit more reliable. Online scooper Daniel Richtman was recently asked about this one by a Twitter user, who asked if it was true that Marvel Studios president and Marvel CCO Kevin Feige liked Cox as Daredevil and wanted to see him in the MCU, and here’s what Richtman replied with.
“From what I’m hearing yes. Doesn’t mean it’s a sure thing tho. I really hope they’ll make it work and bring him back 🤞”

So, from the sound of it, yes, Marvel Studios is working to unite at least one of the Defenders into the world of the MCU, but it appears to be at early stages, and it’s entirely possible that things will change as the universe continues to develop.
As it stands, I think I’d check off this rumor as likely true, though with the caveat that it may still not bear fruit due to the early stages. But what do you think? Would you like to see Charlie Cox return to the MCU as Daredevil (or get in for the first time)? Let us know your thoughts down below!
