Apple TV+ has officially revealed the teaser and premiere date for the anticipated third season of Invasion, the sweeping sci-fi series from acclaimed producers Simon Kinberg (X-Men, Deadpool, The Martian) and David Weil (Hunters). The new season will premiere globally on Friday, August 22, 2025, with the first of ten episodes. Subsequent episodes will debut weekly on Fridays through October 24, 2025.

Since its debut, Invasion has stood out for its cinematic depiction of an alien onslaught seen through multiple perspectives around the world. Season three raises the stakes higher than ever, as the show’s core characters who have previously experienced the alien threat in isolation finally converge for a united mission. Their target: the alien mothership.

With the apex aliens now spreading across the planet at a terrifying pace, the season centers on a desperate, high stakes operation to stop them before humanity is extinguished. The international ensemble must forge new alliances, confront personal betrayals, and combine their unique skills to have any hope of survival.

Returning cast members include Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj. The new season also welcomes Erika Alexander as a series regular, adding a fresh dynamic to the battle for Earth.

Created by Kinberg and Weil, Invasion is executive produced by the duo alongside Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and Nick Nantell.
