Apple TV+ has officially renewed the acclaimed travel series “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” for a third season. Hosted and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Eugene Levy, known for his role in “Schitt’s Creek,” the series will continue its unique blend of humor and exploration across eight new episodes. This season, Levy embarks on a global quest to curate his ultimate travel bucket list, despite his self-professed lack of travel expertise.
Since its debut, “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” has garnered widespread praise from critics. Levy’s charm and wit have been celebrated, making the show an engaging watch. The series recently won Best Travel/Adventure Show and Best Unstructured Series at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards. Seasons one and two are available for streaming on Apple TV+.
In a statement, Levy expressed his mixed feelings about his evolution as a traveler. “I really appreciate what this show is trying to do for me. But to be a real seasoned traveler you need to have a strong sense of adventure and curiosity, and I’m ashamed to say over the past two seasons I’ve developed neither. But I have to admit I’m having a lot of fun putting in the effort. So the beat goes on, apparently,” he said.
Levy’s journey has seen him overcome significant personal challenges, which he acknowledges have positively impacted him. The upcoming season promises even more transformative experiences as Levy pushes his boundaries further than ever before.
