Avengers 4: Supposed Leaked Images Show Off Cap’s Scale Armor
It’s a tried and true tradition in superhero films to see a progression of their costume. We saw the progression in the early Batman films (some may call them regressions), but in recent years, we’ve seen this progression span many films. In fact, Captain America himself has gone through numerous changes.
Of course, he had his original propaganda costume, then his actual WWII costume, then his Avengers costume, followed by his stealth costume in The Winter Soldier, a less dark costume in Civil War, and finally, that same costume in tatters in Avengers: Infinity War. With Cap finally rejoining forces with Tony Stark in Avengers 4, it’s high time that he got a makeover.

It’s a pretty solid suit and a definite upgrade from what we’ve seen so far. Comic book fans will recognize it as a loving nod to Cap’s scale armor, and one Twitter user was quick to point out what costume he was wearing when he was unceremoniously killed.

While we cannot confirm this as a real piece of concept art, other pieces of art like this have come out in the past and proven to be real, so I wouldn’t rule it out. Additionally, the actual art is very professional-looking, so that’s a tick in its favor.
What do you think of this look, and is it hinting at a dead Captain America in the near future? Let us know down below!
