The latest Marvel Barside Buzz, including Avengers: Doomsday at CinemaCon, positive test screenings, X-Men casting and some Deadpool 4 rumors as well. I was not around late week, so catching up with all the biggest rumors in one piece. Let’s begin with some actual news, as this comes from THR.
The trade says Disney is expected to show an early look at Avengers: Doomsday at CinemaCon, which kicks off today and lasts till this Thursday. It could be a convention only first look, there’s no suggestion (yet) that anything will make its way online. Well, in an official sense anyway. You can be sure we’ll have a potato quality phone grab within 24 hours.
Disney is reportedly planning to pull out all the stops during their presentation, which is likely to include Doomsday content. Keep your eyes peeled for news this Thursday, when the Disney presentation is scheduled.
Meanwhile there are a few rumors appearing that Avengers: Doomsday has had a test screening for Marvel insiders.
Leaker MTTSH said,
“Marvel Studios held a private test screening of the pre-reshoots version of Avengers: Doomsday for Kevin Feige and select staff, and they were very pleased with it, some even called it the best Marvel movie yet.”
Though, she was not in alone in making this claim.
I’ve heard it went INFINITY WAR well.

As good as Infinity War, best Marvel movie yet, etc. Obviously the hype is real and this will please Marvel/Disney despite some potential leaks coming from whoever is talking. Still, I never trust test screenings. I’ve seen plenty of good films that tested poorly and vice versa. Though, reports of continued negative tests after changes are made might make one begin to worry.

Next up we have some information from Jeff Sneider, this time through the latest The Hot Mic episode.
Sneider claims in the episode that he’s heard a Deadpool 4 could actually be made and release before the X-Men reboot. It’s long been assumed X-Men would be the film to follow up Secret Wars.
It’s worth noting that Sneider got some back up on this one as you will see below.
I actually heard this as well pretty recently. I couldn't confirm it with my reliabe sources so I just wrote it off as a rumor lolololol. https://t.co/dxFvtYYlLg

Going back to Sneider, the insider also claims that he’s heard two names that are in the mix for roles in Jake Schreier’s X-Men reboot. Marvel is reportedly eyeing Peter Claffey and Odessa A’Zion to play Beast and Rogue in the upcoming X-Men film.
And finally from Sneider, he claims that Hugh Jackman will no longer return after Avengers: Secret Wars, unless perhaps in the aforementioned Deadpool 4. Sneider indicates a new Wolverine will be cast for the new X-Men team.
That’s you all caught up in the latest Barside Buzz folks. Watch for any official news this Thursday. In the meantime I will keep feeding you the best rumors from the best sources. Let us know what you think of these Marvel rumors below.
