Some Avengers: Doomsday Barside Buzz says there are multiple Doom’s in the film, plus we won’t see RDJ’s face in the trailer. Let’s start things off with a new rumor from Daniel RPK. Daniel says he’s heard that one aspect from cancelled The Kang Dynasty may have carried over.
Namely that there are lots of variants of the bad guy, just this time it’s Doctor Doom. Yes, Daniel claims there will be multiple variants on Doctor Doom in the film and some of them are female, which means they won’t be played by RDJ.
It’ll be interesting to see if this is legit and jhow that plays out in the film. Would they all have the same goal, or would the RDJ version be happy to destroy the others to leave just his reality standing?
One thing about the RDJ version, if there is more than one, is that he seems to have a personal vendetta. One rumor that we have reported on previously is that Doom had a wife and child. Both were killed as a result of Steve Rogers going back in time in Endgame. Hence Doom’s wish to get vengeance on Steve. Now another leaker is saying the same thing.

As for RDJ himself, another leaker claims we won’t see his face in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer. That’s not to say we won’t see Doom, just he’ll have his mask on.

Honestly, among Marvel fans I’m guessing most would prefer we vey rarely see Doom with his mask off in this film. If this is true, then I doubt it will in anyway hurt the marketing. Everyone knows RDJ is Doom, and his voice will likely be recognisable also. However, as with all rumors, pinch of salt until you’re watching the trailer yourself in December. Things can and do change in a month.
