Avengers: Doomsday Rumors – More On Doom’s Grudge Against Steve Rogers | Barside Buzz

We have some new Avengers: Doomsday rumors for you and this one claims to give us more on Doom’s grudge against Steve Rogers. If you recall the previous trail of rumors, we had heard Doom was gunning for Rogers, because his life with Peggy had been the cause of incursions.

However, leaker MTTSH is now claiming to have a bit more context to this plot. In other words, that it is very personal for Doom to exact is vengeance on Rogers. If you recall just yesterday the same source claimed set photos she’s seen indicate Steve and Peggy have children.

MTTSH now claims that Steve’s actions caused more hurt to Doom than we first thought.

“Steve going back in time to be with Peggy created the incursions that killed Doctor Doom’s family. Now Doom is hunting Steve to kill him for what he did, manipulating everyone in his path to achieve it.”

If, Doom has, or had a family it will be quite a departure from the comic book version. However, it made lead to us, the audience, having some empathy for his position going in.

Could this mean that Loki is visiting Steve and Peggy to warn them of the incoming storm against them? If Steve lived his life and came back an old man, it must also mean he survived this, ultimately. Which, is more than we can say for any other characters in Doomsday/Secret Wars.

Just remember this is all rumor for now, so as always, pinch of salt.

So what do you think of Doom’s rumored grudge against Steve Rogers in Avengers: Doomsday? Thoughts below.
