Avengers: Secret Wars NOT Being Split In Two Parts After All | Barside Buzz

The latest Barside Buzz says contrary to recent rumors Avengers: Secret Wars is NOT being split into two to two parts.

The latest Barside Buzz says contrary to recent rumors Avengers: Secret Wars is NOT being split into two to two parts. There was genuine belief among good leakers that this was becoming a serious possibility in recent rumors. However, now another good source is saying this is not the case. Jeff Sneider on his latest The Insneider newsletter says this,

“No. As of right now, Marvel is not planning to split Avengers: Secret Wars into two films. That may have been mentioned by someone, somewhere along the chain of power, but it’s not being seriously discussed in Burbank due to the difficulty of scheduling the enormous cast – not to mention the prospect of having to pay Robert Downey Jr.’s even more enormous salary again.”

Now you may ask, well which of these insiders knows best? That’s a tough one honestly in this case.  This initially got brought back up again (old rumors before Russos involved) by Sneider’s The Hot Mic co-host John Rocha. I said at the time Rocha has had good scoops, but he’s not on Sneider’s level. Yet, we then had TCC‘s Lizzie Hill claim she heard it was a ‘high possibility’. You can catch both rumors by starting at the link below and then following it back to Rocha.

Ultimately, if I have to jump one way, it’s towards Sneider on this one. Maybe it was discussed and the rumors were genuine in a way. However, my guess is Jeff’s source is the right one to listen to on this one (more up to date), therefore it’s not happening.

That being said, that’s just my opinion and you’re welcome to your own.
I had several logistical issues with it becoming Part 2 which made me think twice. Still, if it was warranted I don’t think you’d get any fan complaints. For now though it looks like what you see is what you get. Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027.

What do you think of this latest Barside Buzz around Avengers: Secret Wars and whether it’s two parts? Thoughts below.
