Black Panther: Wakanda Forever runtime revealed and it’s a fairly long movie compared to most MCU shows outside of Avengers movies. A new listing for Cineplex theaters has the runtime for Wakanda Forever at 2 hours and 41 minutes long, aka 161 minutes.
This is not yet officially confirmed but if we go by what normally happens, then it’s likely at least close. Usually when these listings go up we are 1-2 weeks from the information being made official and at most you’ll see a few minutes of difference, I tend to find. That’s if it’s not bang on, which it often is.
This would make Wakanda Forever the longest MCU film outside of the big Avengers event movies. Saying that I would not equate runtime with any semblance of quality control when it comes to MCU movies. We’ve rarely had a bad MCU movie, but great or not, the runtime has never been much of a factor.

Of course not many sequels will have to deal with the real death of the lead star between movies. The absence of T’Challa needs to be explained and dealt with in-universe. At this time we don’t yet know exactly how that will play out, and whether it will be effective. We also have new players to add in the mix. Wakanda Forever will introduce both Namor and his undersea Kingdom, as well as Riri Williams (Ironheart). If you want to see a toy figure of what Riri’s Ironheart Mk II suit looks like, check Here.
Wakanda Forever is unleashed on November 11, which really isn’t that long now to wait. Will you be at theaters for opening weekend or not? What do you think as the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever runtime revealed to be one of the longest solo movies to date? As always, thoughts below.
