Michael Connelly has crafted realistic and addicting murder mysteries with his central character Harry Bosch from his novels. After seven seasons of Bosch, the homicide detective is now a private detective in Bosch: Legacy that is currently in its second season.

The second season cast includes Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers, Madison Lintz, Stephen A. Chang, and Denise G. Sanchez.

Here is the official synopsis:

Bosch: Legacy follows Harry Bosch, a retired homicide detective turned private investigator, as he embarks on the next chapter of his career; attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, who struggles to maintain her faith in the justice system after surviving an attempted murder; and Maddie Bosch, as she discovers the possibilities and challenges of being a rookie patrol cop on the streets of Los Angeles. During season two, Bosch and Chandler work together to seek out a killer who just might find them first. As a result of being kidnapped by a masked assailant, Maddie Bosch’s law enforcement career hangs in the balance. The FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder and places Bosch and Chandler under suspicion.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with author, creator and executive producer Michael Connelly on the success of the series and previews season two of Bosch: Legacy.

Michael Connelly authored thirty-eight novels that included the Harry Bosch series, the Lincoln Lawyer series, and the Renée Ballard series, that sold more than 85 million copies in the world. Many of his novels reached the number one on the New York Timesbest-seller’s list that included Desert Star, The Dark Hours, and The Law of Innocence. Connelly was a former newspaper reporter in Los Angeles under the crime beat. He is the executive producer of three television series, including Bosch, Bosch: Legacy, and The Lincoln Lawyer.

Bosch: Legacy season two is currently streaming on Freevee.
