Boys Go to Jupiter Red Carpet Interviews | Animation Is Film 2024

Boys Go to Jupiter

Maybe aliens wanted to go to Jupiter or, instead, to Jupiter, Florida.

Boys Go to Jupiter premiered on the opening night of Animation Is Film 2024 in Hollywood, Calif.

From Julian Glander’s mind, a visual style of animated storytelling that blends video games and illustrations onto the screen was established. It marked his full-length animated feature film debut, accompanied by lo-fi musical numbers and a voice cast exhibiting alternative comedy laughs.

The leading voice cast includes Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade, Despicable Me), Janeane Garofalo (Mystery Men, Ratatouille), and Julio Torres (Nimona, Problemista). The rest of the voice cast includes Jack Corbett, Eve Victor, Chris Fleming, Sarah Sherman, Cole Escola, Joe Para, River L. Ramirez, and Demi Adejuyigbe.

Here is the official synopsis:

Boys Go to Jupiter starts with a boy in suburban Florida. Billy 5000, an ambitious teen, feels stuck in the slack between Christmas and New Year’s, surrounded by his eccentric friends and oddball clients. When he finds a gelatinous (and adorable) alien creature, he is suddenly thrust into the middle of forces much greater than both himself and the world he knows.
