Paramount Pictures, GK Films and New Regency announced that Brad Pitt will be the headline star with Robert Zemeckis directing an original romantic thriller story by Steve Knight. The project will be produced by Zemeckis, Graham King and Steve Starkey.
According to the Paramount’s press release, the epic story will be produced under King’s GK Films with Knight, Jack Rapke (“Flightâ€), Patrick McCormick (“Black Massâ€) and Denis O’Sullivan (“The 5th Waveâ€) as executive producers.
No other details of plot or release date were revealed at this time. Knight wrote “The Hundred-Foot Journey†and “Dirty Pretty Things.â€
Pitt has a romantic drama “By the Sea†for release later this year. And Zemeckis directed Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the true story of Philippe Petit in “The Walk,†scheduled for theater release in October 2015.
