The Insidious franchise continues with its new installment, Insidious: Out of the Further. The horror icon Lin Shaye is joined by Amelia Eve (“The Blind”) and Brandon Perea (“Nope”). Are you prepared for the new supernatural horror?

The Synopsis

In Insidious: Out of the Further, Amelia Eve stars as Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe. When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that changes everything: she doesn’t just enter The Further, she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.

While most people remember Brandon Perea from his participation in the popular 2022 hit Nope, by Jordan Peele. I remember him the most from the Netflix series The OA that had its run for two seasons.Recently he was seen in Twister, Spilled Milk and A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. Soon we will see him in The Faith of Long Beach starring Snoop Dogg and Doe.

I connected with Brandon Perea via Zoom this past Monday to discuss his role for Insidious: Out of the Further. He shared that he was already a fan of the Insidious franchise and was very excited to be one of the few to read the script. Also about how it was getting to work, but also enjoy the set also as a fan. Perea shared his experience in getting to work with the queen of the horror genre Lin Shay and getting to do press with her and more!
