Carved will make you think twice about ordering pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie during this Halloween season.
Adapted from Justin Harding’s short film that was part of the Huluween series, Carved is a full-length feature film with a pumpkin monster coming to life and stalking for revenge.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee leads the cast as a young woman trapped with others on a Halloween farm and must lead others to safety. The rest of the cast includes Corey Fogelmanis, Wyatt Lindner, Carla Jimenez, Sasha Mason, Jonah Lees, DJ Qualls, Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur, Elvis Nolasco, Matty Cardrople, Jackson Kelly, and Chris Elliott.

When a heartbroken teenage playwright, her younger brother, and a disparate group of survivors become trapped in a historical reenactment village on Halloween night, they must band together to survive a relentless assault by a sentient and vengeful pumpkin.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with director-writer Justin Harding and actress Peyton Elizabeth Lee about the feature creature, adaptation from a short film to a longer story, and Peyton Elizabeth Lee’s first horror film.
Justin Harding is a director with a portfolio across multiple genres but is known for his work in the horror realm. He made numerous shorts with Point of View, Kookie, Latched, and Carved. He directed episodes for television series that included Cashed Out, Restaurants on the Edge, Urban Legend, and The Haunted Museum.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee is well known for her roles with Disney. She made her mark in the title role for the Disney Channel drama series Andi Mack and then later with the comedy series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. She even starred in the magical film Secret Society of Second-Born Royals. She also starred in the romantic comedy Prom Pact last year.
Carved premieres on Hulu on Monday, October 21.
