Chariot | Adam Sigal Interview [Exclusive]

Chariot directed by Adam Sigal

Real-life can be so strange that maybe it’s not even real life. Director and writer Adam Sigal crafted Chariot, a man who is apparently stuck in a glitch in the system that puts him in a recurring dreamlike state.

The film stars John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich, In the Line of Fire), Shane West (A Walk to Remember, Salem, Nikita), Thomas Mann (Halloween Kills, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), and Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel, Maze Runner franchise). Adam Sigal directed and wrote the movie.

Here is the official synopsis:

In this dark thriller, John Malkovich stars as a “doctor” guiding unknowing people through the reincarnation transition who encounters a glitch in the system and must fix it before memories of past lives interfere with the future.

Adam Sigal’s first real film as a writer and director was 2015’s  When the Starlight Ends, a comedy-drama about a writer going through a terrible breakup. In 2019, he followed with Stakeout, a mostly autobiographical account of his experiences as a private investigator in Los Angeles. Chariot is his third feature film as a director.

Chariot is in select theaters, On Demand, and available digitally today.
