The Cosm is the new gateway for a full cinematic experience. Located at the new center of full entertainment in Hollywood Park, California. Warner Brothers Picture has collaborated with Cosm to bring us a truly unique experience with The Matrix. Curating the original picture and expanding it across Cosm’s 87-foot diameter LED dome transporting to a new 1999 The Matrix universe.
Nancy Tapia: We angelinos have it in our backyard! How did this idea even develop and what took so long? Haha…
Alexis Scalice: Cosm is built on fandom—bringing world-class content to life through unforgettable, immersive experiences powered by Shared Reality. Just as we reimagined how fans engage with live sports—putting them closer to the action than ever before—we saw the same transformative potential for blockbuster films. It’s about redefining how audiences connect with the stories and worlds they love.

Nancy Tapia: Tell me about the technology used to bring us the great graphics. I think I felt air during The Matrix.
Our goal was to transport fans back into The Matrix—but in a completely new, transformative way—celebrating the film’s recent 25th anniversary like never before. Leveraging Cosm’s cutting-edge technology and full-dome filmmaking capabilities, the film plays in its original format while the surrounding environment dynamically responds and evolves, amplifying key moments and deepening immersion. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with some of the industry’s most innovative partners, being Warner Bros., Little Cinema and Makemake Entertainment.
Nancy Tapia: It’s a brilliant idea of having a Tasting Menu tied to the film. How did this get integrated into the Cosm experience? I enjoyed it very much. Taking us out of the traditional drink and popcorn.
Alexis Scalice: Innovation drives everything we do—especially when it comes to your experience. As our content pushes the boundaries of immersion, our food and beverage offerings evolve in step, designed to heighten every moment, and blur the line between the virtual and physical worlds. It’s more than just a show—it’s a fully immersive, multi-sensory journey built for fans who crave something extraordinary.

Nancy Tapia: Not only do we get to appreciate the arts and entertainment, but also sports! I can’t wait to watch an international soccer game with prime seats in total comfort of not having to deal with being cold, hot, dealing with traffic, parking and lines to get into the stadium. What are the anticipated sports games that you’ll be having later this year? Do you have some sort of season pass for the sport fanatics?
Alexis Scalice: We don’t offer season passes but we’re always finding new ways to keep guests coming back—by offering dynamic, always-on programming that spans a variety of sports content. We’re building vibrant communities of fans who love the immersive environment and the energy it brings, with a diverse lineup of sporting events which includes UFC, WWE, NFL, NHL, NBA, Premier League, and more. We’ve shown highly sought after events like Wrestle Mania, the Kentucky Derby, The Players Championship, Daytona 500 and more in The Dome. There’s always something exciting happening—and a reason to return.
Nancy Tapia: What other films will you have coming up? Please tell me you could bring Back To The Future!
Alexis Scalice: We are absolutely planning on adding more Shared Reality films to our venues! Stay tuned to find out!

Nancy Tapia: To finalize since you currently have The Matrix playing in Shared Reality, which specialty cocktail is your choice of preference, the blue pill or red pill drink?
Alexis Scalice: I always take the red pill!
