A possible Daredevil: Born Again S2 release date change, Millie Bobby Brown wanted for X-Men and Thanos impending return. That’s what we have for you in today’s Marvel Barside Buzz. Let’s begin with Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Now, not so much a rumor this, as some curious speculation amongst fans. We were given a release date for Season 2’s premiere already, March 4th, 2026. Yet, in recent days, any official Disney/Marvel source has the series listed simply as 2026. Which, is odd.

Does this mean there’s a release date change coming? Maybe, maybe not. Honestly, no one knows outside of the studios and nothing has been said either way. Yet, you do wonder why the previously announced release date is not being publicised now?

Second up today we have a rumor from MTTSH on her sub channel. The leaker claims that Marvel are looking at Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown for a role in the upcoming X-Men reboot. The film is being directed by Jake Schreier and the casting process has surely begun by this point. Filming is said to begin in 2026.

There’s no indication from the leaker of what role Marvel has eyed Brown for. However, it’s also worth noting we are not in the in-talks stage here. Or at least, not that we know.

Marvel likes and looks at a lot of actors for roles. Brown is a star already for her age, thanks to Stranger Things. I’m sure if she does fancy stepping into the MCU, she’ll want to make sure it’s the right role. It’s also possible that either she won’t fancy it or will be too expensive for Marvel. Remember, Marvel has met with many actors who have yet to come into the MCU. For example, Keanu Reeves, who has admitted he’s had chats. 

Let’s see what happens, as I expect trades to start announcing casting decisions for X-Men soon. 

Lastly today we have a short one from regular leaker Daniel RPK. Daniel claims that Josh Brolin will return as Thanos in one of the next two Avengers movies. It’s a rumor we have heard before and I do believe it’s correct. I think we can all imagine how powerful it would be to see Doom destroy a variant of Thanos easily. Though who knows if that’s how and why he will return?

As always, take any of these rumors, or the fan speculation with a pinch of salt. However, I’ll guess Marvel really are looking at Millie Bobby Brown, (just like everyone else). I also think we will see Thanos again and it’s curious why the Daredevil date has disappeared. Still, you never know.
