Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has wrapped filming confirms showrunner, plus Krysten Ritter teases Jessica Jones return to the MCU. Let’s start with news that filming on Season 2 has wrapped, as per showrunner Dario Scardapane on Instagram.

Born Again Season 2 is due to release next year on Disney+. We could even see some footage shown this year given there are conventions still to come.

There could still be some surprises they are keeping to themselves, however we do now Jessica Jones returns. Krysten Ritter will reprise her Netflix role as Jessica Jones in the MCU going forward, her first appearance being in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Speaking with Screen Rant, Ritter was asked what it felt like compared to filming the Netflix series in the past?
“Oh, it’s gritty. It feels big too. The crew’s amazing. I’ve had an amazing experience. I can’t say anything, but I love being with Charlie [Cox]. It was as if no time had passed. Like, my first day, I was looking around like we’re back. But juxtaposing it with Mia [her Dexter Resurrection character] and Jessica has been really creatively fulfilling for me as an artist and just what a big, big banner year I’m having. I think the fans are going to be very, very thrilled. We’re doing some cool stuff.”
There are rumors that Marvel is either planning it’s own rebooted Jessica Jones series, or a Special Presentation like Punisher is getting. It makes sense for Marvel to use TV characters to build out a separate, lower budget TV universe to play in. The writing for Jessica Jones needs to be a damn site better than the Netflix version though.
