Diego Luna Says Fans Will See Rogue One Differently After Watching Andor Season 2

Some Star Wars Barside Buzz today with a description of Andor Season 2's rumored 'No Russian' scene.

Star Diego Luna says Star Wars fans will see Rogue One differently after watching Andor Season 2. He also suggest the possibility of Lucasfilm releasing the film in theatres for a short run post Andor Season 2.

Luna spoke to EW recently with filming now finished on Andor Season 2.

“I think people watching Rogue One, after watching season 2, are going to see a different film. Everything will be signified differently knowing what had to happen for K-2 to be there. It’s going to make you witness the journey of Rogue One in a different way, I think. And not just with K-2, but with many other characters. I think it’ll be really cool.”

“I’m sure someone from Lucasfilm and Disney will give us the opportunity to watch season 2 and then go straight to watch the film on a big screen with tons of popcorn and friends around.”

As for K-2SO, Luna was pleased to work with actor Alan Tudyk again in Season 2.

“What a problem, that droid,” Luna tells EW. “He has no filter. He just talks and says everything he’s thinking.”

“It was delicious to get to work with Alan again and be on the same set with him,” he says. “It just helps fulfill the full circle.”

“You’re going to see why K-2 is so important in Rogue One,” Luna teases, “and how does he get to be such an important character for the Rebellion.”

I cannot wait. Andor Season 1 was superb and I’m really looking forward to watching Season 2. I may well just finish off by switching over to Rogue One straight afterwards
