Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Filming Inside Freemasons Church London

A new set video posted to social media shows Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness filming inside the Freemasons Church in Central London. According to the user who posted the video, the production had been there for weeks filming. Though, as you can see from the video below, there is not much we get to see here. It looks like all the filming is taking place inside, away from prying eyes. Therefore the interior, rather than the exterior of this Freemasons Church is what caught the teams attention. Check it out.

Having never been inside this Church I have no idea what kind of feel or architecture we are looking at. This is a great time to film in a location such as this whilst lockdown is still in effect. Added to the natural security of being a church with few windows, it seems perfect. You can totally imagine what it might look like inside and why Doctor Strange or Wanda may be there. Though our imagination is really all we have at this point.

As for how we know this is Multiverse of Madness, well. we don’t for sure. We can say this seems like a huge production in a small place. I think right now it is also clear that Multiverse of Madness is the biggest movie filming in the London area. The poster @joaopviegas1 says they asked what this was for and were told Marvel. If that is true then we know Multiverse of Madness is the only Marvel shoot in London currently.

It’s not a smoking gun, but it seems like this is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness filming inside the Freemasons Church. As for what that means for the movie, you’ll have to let your imagination run wild like I am.

Leave any thoughts below as always.
