Recently we heard officially that there was a delay in Echo. However Echo is now rumored to be delayed till early 2024!  Showrunner Marion Dayre confirmed we’d see Echo in roughly a year’s time back in early December. From that statement fans assumed we would be looking at a Winter 2023 release for the show.

However the folks at Murphy’s Multiverse have now herd that early-2024 is more likely. That would still roughly match what Dayre had to say. Here is what MM said in their article linked above.

We’ve heard “early 2024” and Dayre’s comments that the show would be out “about a year from December 2022” are close enough to that for a hypothetical calendar Assuming the series keeps what’s currently a very deep connection to the events of Daredevil: Born Again, moving it to 2024 would allow the two series to stream fairly close together.

We have of course been hearing there were some problems with Echo. What those were specifically is hard to, but still there are a rumor of a troubled and tricky production. This does not mean the show won’t still be good when it hits and the delays could be about making sure the show gets that final polish it needs. However without knowing specifics it’s hard to say for certain.

I’ll always tout the same thing when we have this situation. Always give the show or movie the tie it needs. When a production gets rushed, you occasionally get moments of brilliance when the chips are down. However more often you get a rushed product that is forgettable. I’d much rather see a delay to get things right, IF possible.

Still, that’s one helluva delay if we don’t get Echo till around January 2024. I guess we will wait and see once a new date is made official. Let us know what you think of reports Echo is now rumored to be delayed till early 2024? Thoughts below as always.
