I guess everything is good between Marvel and Scarlett Johansson as Kevin Feige teases secret ScarJo project. However it’s not related to Black Widow and would actually see Johansson as a producer rather than in front of the camera. The report comes from Deadline who were reporting on Johansson receiving the American Cinematheque Award. One of those in attendance and speaking about how great Johansson is was Marvel Boss Kevin Feige. Here’s exactly what Deadline reports.
Among those in attendance to pay tribute to the two-time Oscar nominee was Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who praised her for her “talent,” “vision”, intelligence and savvy, both as an actress and a producer, also teasing a “top secret Marvel Studios project” on which the studio is reteaming with the actress, which he said has nothing to do with her Black Widow character, Natasha Romanoff. Feige noted that Johansson, who became the first Marvel actor to exec produce one of the studio’s movies with Black Widow, will also serve on the upcoming project as a producer.

It seems clear this would be a executive position. There’s surely no way Johansson appears on screen again in a Marvel movie without it being connected to her Black Widow character. So just what could this mysterious secret project be? Who knows, it could be far enough out that we as yet haven’t even heard any rumors of it. Or it could easily be something already announced for farther down the line?
