The latest Barside Buzz has some runtimes for the first 4 episodes of both Agatha All Along and Penguin. Both the MCU and DC series are almost upon us, and I’ll let you know later which one I’m most looking forward to. Let’s start with the runtimes themselves. First off lets take a look at Penguin. The source for this one is Cryptic HD. Therefore, I’ll once again point out they’ve never got one of these wrong, yet.

Meaty 1 hour runtimes for what I expect to be a very good character drama. Penguin has 8 Episodes in total, we have no idea yet on the final 4 Episodes runtime. However one would guess around the same as these first 4.
Penguin premieres on HBO on September 19th at 9PM EST.

Now onto Agatha All Along. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the source on this one folks. However, my guess would be that this is legit as it’s not the sort of thing you leak unless sure.

These timings are also pretty on brand for Marvel TV series so far. I do wonder at how much character elements will be stripped out in favor of spectacle in Agatha to make that shorter runtime. I mean, does anyone think Agatha will be a better show (for adults) than Penguin? I’ll be surprised if it is, but willing to give both a shot. I’m just a tad more excited for Penguin myself.
Agatha All Along premieres a day earlier on September 18th at 9PM EST on Disney+.
