In this weeks episode, one of my favorite predictions came true, Arya Stark and Gendry finally got some loving. Fans have been pairing these two up since the characters were a little too young for this kind of relationship. However, that was years ago, not now and when the characters got down to sexy time in this weeks episode it was a completely different situation from the beginning of the show.

Our own Joseph Jammer Medina already covered Maisie talking candidly about the scene and about how she was allowed to choose what should be shown and not. You can check it out in the related section below. But still, despite this many fans are inexplicably (to me) shocked by Williams showing a little side boob and the top of her butt cheeks.

Listen, here’s the thing, in Medieval times, which Game of Thrones is supposed to replicate, a 16-year-old was a grown-ass woman, and she could choose to do what any grown ass woman does. Get married, have kids, it’s all golden at 16 within the nature of that show. Also, Maisie Williams is now 22, that means she’s a grown ass woman as well. Therefore she can choose what roles she wants, whether to do nude scenes or sex scenes, or anything else a grown ass woman can decide for herself. There isn’t anything else to say about it.

Fans wanted to see this badly, we got a great moment and it had nothing about it which was weird or awkward, or at least it shouldn’t have been. It’s not like she did a full on nude shot, and yet, this show is known for never skimping on this aspect. I thought it was all handled really well in all honesty and it wouldn’t have made me think twice even if she had went full nude in all honesty.
