She-Hulk: Attorney at Law head writer Jessica Gao recalls the moment they found out they were getting Daredevil for She-Hulk. Gao appeared on Deadline‘s Hero Nation podcast and she talked about the day they found out Daredevil and Charlie Cox was on the table.
“One day we were basically told by the way… Daredevil’s on the table. We were also told in the same breath that it would be Charlie returning as Daredevil. So I have to imagine they must’ve closed some deal and then said okay… we can offer him up in the buffet of Marvel.”
One would guess this was also the point Cox had signed on for both Daredevil: Born Again and his cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

There are some sizable spoilers out for the first few episodes of She-Hulk and I’ve deliberately stayed away from them. Basically, the press got to see three episodes ahead of time. I guess someone forgot there was only one for the rest of us and spoiler reviewed it. It happens, but I’d rather find out myself over the next two weeks. LRM‘s own Manny Gomez has also seen the first three episodes, but we don’t let him talk about anything because he’s always well ahead of the rest of us when it comes to new shows and movies.
Therefore I genuinely have no idea where and when Daredevil shows up in She-Hulk? Though we’ve known since even before the trailers that Cox was in this show. So far, in the current canon of the MCU we have only seen Matt Murdock briefly in No Way Home. I’m therefore interested to see what Marvel Studios does with the Daredevil persona.
What do you think of her comments as head writer Jessica Gao recalls the moment they found out they were getting Daredevil for She-Hulk? As always, let us know what you think? Are you excited to see Daredevil make his kinda debut in the MCU? Thoughts below if you can.
