The conspiracy theories are about to get real over at Netflix. According to a report from THR, their new adult animated series Inside Job has just gotten a 20-episode season order. Set to executive producer and showrun is Gravity Falls writer Shion Takeuchi, whose multiyear deal over at the streaming giant is being kicked off with this funny-sounding twist on the workplace comedy.
Inside Job is being described as “workplace comedy set in the shadow government, where every conspiracy theory — from the Illuminati to Reptoids — is true, and one woman struggles to keep the chaos under wraps.” Given Takeuchi’s involvement with Gravity Falls — another animated series that dealt with supernatural and conspiracy-type material — her involvement is fitting, but she’s not the only one. Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch is also on board the project as co-executive producer.

This new series isn’t the only big show coming. It will be produced at Netflix Animation, and if you’ve been keeping up with just how much Netflix has been diving headfirst into animation, you’ll know they have some other pretty big heavy-hitters creating projects with them. Such big names include Jorge Gutierrez and Sergio Pablos.
