So it’s been interesting to follow the Will He/Won’t He? of whether or not Spider-Man will appear in Avengers: Infinity War. First there was the natural assumption that he would be, since it sounds like every frickin’ Marvel hero ever is going to be in the movie. Then there was Marvel Studios seemingly going out of its way to say he would not show up by releasing a cast list that spoiled other surprises while omitting Tom Holland’s name (For the uninitiated, Holland is the new custodian of the Peter Parker/Spider-Man character). And THEN there was Holland letting the cat out of the bag that he WOULD pop up in Avengers: Infinity War after all, during an interview with an Italian news outlet.
That brings us to a recent Instagram Livestream video, posted by Holland onto his own profile, where he seemingly “accidentally” let slip that he’s already working on Avengers: Infinity War.
As part of a Live session that included some tomfoolery between he and his best friend, Harrison Osterfield, who he’s had tag along with him while filming before, Holland said this:
“We’re obviously working. Maybe I can’t say this on live. Oh, I can. People know right – what we’re here for? Well, now they know!â€
Holland then cut the feed short for fear of revealing too much more. Here’s the video of Holland seemingly confirming he was back at work as Spider-Man for Avengers: Infinity War:
