Actress Rhona Mitra has a long career playing certain characters and with familiar actors in the business. In Hounds of War, she is back in an action role with her friend, Frank Grillo, at an exotic location of Malta.

The film also stars Robert Patrick. Isaac Florentine directed it from the screenplay by Jean Pierre Magro.

Here is the official synopsis:

Frank Grillo, Robert Patrick, and Rhona Mitra star in Hounds of War, about the best military mercenaries money can buy. Known as ‘The Hounds,’ they are sent on a final mission by their creator: a carefully planned trap set up to destroy them.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with actress Rhona Mitra about her character, working with Frank Grillo, an exotic location like Malta, and her work on an animal sanctuary.

Rhona Mitra is a British actress known for many roles included Sonja in the 2009’s Underworld: Rise of the Lycans; as Major Rachel Dalton in Strike Back series; and as Rachel Scott in the first two seasons of TNT’s The Last Ship. Her other credits included Party of Five, Ali G Indahouse, The Practice, Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, Doomsday, Game Over, Man!, and the CW series Supergirl as Mercy Graves.

Hounds of War is available digitally today.
