In quite a serious drama series with Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt, Tim Jo and Angela Grovey inject a certain amount of humor into a story full of courtroom drama, family conflict, sexual tensions, and even murder.
The series stars Emayatzy Corinealdi (Middle of Nowhere, The Invitation), Michael Ealy (Barbershop, Think Like a Man), Sean Patrick Thomas (Save the Last Dance, Barbershop), McKinley Freeman (End of Watch, Greencard Warriors), TJ Mixson (South of Heaven, Safety), and Aderinsola Olabode (Love). Raamla Mohamed (Little Fires Everywhere, Scandal) is the creator and showrunner. Kerry Washington and Larry Wilmore serve as executive producers.
Here is the official synopsis:
In Reasonable Doubt, you’ll judge Jax Stewart for her questionable ethics and wild interpretations of the law…until you’re the one in trouble. Then you’ll see her for what she is: the most brilliant and fearless defense attorney in Los Angeles who bucks the justice system at every chance she gets.
