Next year’s Avengers: Infinity War is likely to be a bloodbath, with many characters’ lives potentially on the line for the sake of the universe. Marvel Studios has been pretty good about keeping most of their main cast alive up until now, but as this film approaches, fans take stock of who will survive and who will die.
Actress Pom Klementieff has released a brand new image, and it makes us wonder if this means her Guardians of the Galaxy character, Mantis, will be safe in Avengers: Infinity War.

The shot and caption hints at Klementieff’s return to the set — which is currently Avengers 4 — and one would assume that means she’ll be coming back. The only thing that makes us doubt this reveal is the hashtag, which reads #AvengersInfinityWar. Was this perhaps an older image she only just posted now? We doubt it, despite the hashtag.
But let’s assume this reveals that her character will be safe and ready for action in Avengers 4. Mantis’ potential survival isn’t a huge surprise. The Guardians are known only to have a small role in Avengers: Infinity War, and if that small role results in one of them getting killed, that would be pretty disheartening indeed.
Do you think Mantis will survive in Avengers: Infinity War, and is something you’d already assumed was a given? Let us know down below!
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 25, 2018.
