Jac Schaeffer Plays Coy On Questions Around Scarlet Witch Movie Rumors

Agatha All Along creator Jac Schaeffer plays coy when asked about those Scarlet Witch movie rumors doing the rounds. It was not that long ago all the leakers were claiming that a Scarlet Witch solo movie was in development. However, recently the usually reliable Production Weekly has Schaeffer listed as the script writer on the film. Cue the questions below from Variety.

When asked when she starts filming the Scarlet Witch movie Schaeffer says after a chuckle,

“I’m just here hoping for a Scarlet Witch movie right, we all want Wanda, so finger crossed that’s a thing that happens.”

Asked if Schaeffer thinks it will happen?

“I don’t know, I’m kinda in Witchy Agatha land right now and can’t see the wood for the trees, but we’re hoping.”

Maybe the plan is  to have Schaeffer script a Scarlet Witch movie. However, I’d also expect Marvel to wait and see how audiences react to Agatha before making that commitment. I guess we will need to wait and see?

Liz Olsen has been saying recently she would return to the role of Wanda if some good writers can find a way to bring her back from the dead. Then again, was Wanda truly dead?

You can check what Olsen had to say when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmell Live just this week.

What do you think of her comments as Jac Schaeffer plays coy when asked about those Scarlet Witch movie rumors doing the rounds? Thoughts below as always.
