The challenge – create a life-size house made of …CANDY! Watch as Candy Queen Jackie Sorkin and her team of candy artists design, glue, melt and shape hundreds of thousands of sweet pieces to build a fantasy come to life….just in time for the holidays.

Jackie Sorkin has created a name for herself with her candy artistry. She is a co-founder and co-creator of Miami Sweet, Candytopia and Candy Kingdom. She has been hired to make her creations by celebrities like Oprah and Kety Perry. Besides being seen on the television series, Candy Queen she has also appeared in other shows like Unique Sweets, Guy’s Grocery Games and Netflix’s Sugar Rush.

I had the opportunity to speak with the candy artist Jackie Sorkin via Zoom to discuss  Candified: Home For The Holidays. She shared what candy means to her and how she feels we all connect with it. In addition, to a stressful moment during the making of the dream house, the candy maintenance and more.
