Jasmine Mathews and Keith Powers both play soldiers from the future in Amazon Studio’s The Tomorrow War.
The film has Chris Pratt in the lead role as Dan Forester as he travels into the future to save the human race from an alien invasion force.
The film also stars Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Chris McKay directed the movie from a script from Zach Dean.

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

Jasmine Mathews played Rachel Hall for two seasons on ABC’s The Rookie. She has appeared in the television series Sweetbitter, Heathers, and Blue Bloods.
Keith Powers recently was known for playing Jordan Wilder on Freeform’s Famous in Love and as Todd Archer in Netflix’s What/If. In films, he appeared in movies such as Maximum Impact, #Realityhigh, Before I Fall, and Straight Outta Compton.
The Tomorrow War releases on Amazon Prime video starting Friday, July 2.
