Jennifer Morris and Robbie Sublett know the best stories to tell are the one closest to home. Quite literally, the couple told their story living with their mother in a comical series called If I’m Alive Next Week…
The episodic series follow a foul-mouthed, 80-year-old grandmother (Joyce Van Pateen), who gets dumped and booted from her boyfriend’s (Peter Friedman) brownstone. She’s forced to return to the rent-stabilized apartment that is currently housing her broke, ungrateful kids (Jennifer Morris, Robbie Sublett).
