Lee Pace and Laura Birn Talk About Foundation Season Two | Exclusive

This interview was conducted prior to the SAG-AFTRA declaring an official strike.

The tension continues for season two of Foundation. As the foundation of the characters were set in the first season now we get to see how they develop and if “Brother Day” played by Lee Pace will change direction in this new century.

The Synopsis

More than a century after the season one finale, tension mounts throughout the galaxy in “Foundation” season two. As the Cleons unravel, a vengeful queen plots to destroy the Empire from within. Hari, Gaal and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with psionic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, promulgating the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach and inciting the Second Crisis: war with the Empire. The monumental adaptation of “Foundation” chronicles the stories of four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.

The native from Oklahoma, Lee Pace is a multi talented actor. Pace found acting while attending high school and for a minute left his studies for the Alley Theater while living in Houston, Texas. He returned to graduate before he left for Juilliard School in New York After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree he appeared on Broadway. In 2003 Pace was seen in Soldier’s Girl, a film that won him recognition for playing a transsexual. His performance provided several awards, including a Golden Globe nomination. The actor is known for other projects like The Good Shepherd, The Fall, his role as “Thranduil” in The Hobbit franchise and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

The beautiful actress Laura Birn attended Helsinki Theater Academy and graduated with a masters degree. She started her acting career doing short films. Birn became known in her birth country for the Finnish comedy, Helmiä ja Sikoja (Pearls and Pigs). Two years later was her next hit in Lupaus. Among other projects is Puhdistus, Tyhjiö, A Walk Among the Tombstones and Helene. Valoa Valoa Valoa is her next film.

Last month I was connected with Lee Pace and Laura Birn during the press day for the second season of Foundation.They both discussed how their characters will be developing without giving too much away. In addition to Pace sharing how he understands “Brother Day.”
