After missing last year (almost) completely Marvel Studios has announced their return to Hall H for this years SDCC, for a ‘look at the future’. With Avengers: Doomsday due this December it was always thought Marvel would have a big presence at SDCC this year. Remember, fans still have never seen the Doomsday trailer that was shown to industry attendees at CinemaCon this year.
Well, keep your fingers crossed because Marvel has confirmed that it’s heading back to SDCC, which runs from Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26, promising fans “a behind-the-scenes look at all the exciting news coming to comics, movies, TV, and games.”
However, the most important part is Sunday,

Given what is next is Doomsday, and no one has seen anything from it yet, you’d be a fool to think this won’t be the focus. Now, how far in the future remains to be seen and my guess is that we won’t get anything beyond Doomsday and Secret Wars talk. I don’t think we will get a slate for post-Secret Wars but then that’s just a guess. We’ll see what the rumors say in the next week or two. Maybe something about Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 or especially VisionQuest, given it is due in 2026.
