The pieces of Marvel’s next X-Men epic have finally come together. Following last month’s wave of Age of Revelation announcements at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Comics has revealed the final two titles in the event lineup, Binary and Rogue Storm, both set to debut this November.
A Future Ruled by Revelation
Kicking off in October with Age of Revelation: Overture #1 by writer Jed MacKay and artist Ryan Stegman, this bold new event takes readers 10 years into a dark and twisted future. The world has been reshaped by Doug Ramsey, now the heir to Apocalypse, who rules the so called Revelation Territories, a mutant utopia built on a dangerous lie. Meanwhile, the mysterious X-Virus has ravaged the rest of the Earth, leaving the planet fractured and on the brink.
As cracks begin to form in Revelation’s empire, the destinies of Marvel’s most powerful mutants have been forever altered, including Jean Grey and Storm, who take center stage in the two newly announced series.
