According to the Marvel Barside Buzz Ultron has a future beyond Vision Quest, Hawkeye Season 2 isn’t dead and Jessica Jones series considered. All today’s rumors come from Daniel RPK in Patreon. Let’s begin with Ultron (James Spader), who we know appears in the upcoming Vision Quest series.

Daniel says he’s heard there is more planned for Ultron’s returns than merely Vision Quest. Multiple projects were the words used, so let’s see what happens there. I wasn’t a massive fan of Age of Ultron as a film. However, I do wish Ultron had stuck around or do wish he’d come back.

Next up, Hawkeye Season 2. If you remember star Jeremy Renner basically told us he rejected the chance to return for it. The reasons Renner gave, simple, the money he was offered was half his fee for Season 1. However, now Daniel says that Hawkeye Season 2 is not dead after all and that Marvel are still in talks with Renner to try and make a deal.

Marvel were supposed to be moving away from this model into more affordable TV. So I doubt they’ll pay Renner the same as Season 1. Perhaps there is a number in the middle that would make sense for both? However, Renner also needs to understand streaming is a different sport now. Still, up to him, maybe he can’t be bothered with the hassle for anything less?

Finally, Daniel says he’s heard Marvel are considering a Jessica Jones reboot, akin to what happened with Daredevil. Jessica (Kirsten Ritter) is already back as a character in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. However, given Marvel wants to create their own TV level slate, bringing Jones back would make sense.

However, unlike Daredevil, Marvel needs to change up Jessica Jones dramatically. Season 1 aside, the other two seasons were awful. Worse, they were boring and dull.
