Happy May the 4th Star Wars fans and so far all we have to share is a new teaser and poster for The Mandalorian and Grogu. Fans often get their hopes up for big reveals on Star Wars day, but recent history has taught us to temper expectations. There are rumors of some other things happening today, but so far this is it, plus a few posts on social media.
You can see the poster for The Mandalorian and Grogu above in the header. Meanwhile we have the newly released teaser before, which I don’t think will move the needle on whether you plan to see this in theatres.

The Mandalorian and Grogu also got the first 25 mins shown in select IMAX theatres today. I certainly would not be paying to go see 25 mins of a movie, but each to their own. That being said, it’s the hardcore seeing this, so I’m not sure I trust the crazies who liked The Acolyte and Kenobi.

LRM colleague Kye asked me today If I’m seeing this on general release May 22, or that weekend? I’m honestly not sure, it may depend what else is happening that weekend?
I’ll keep an eye on anything else dropping today and try and update if there’s anything exciting.
