Gilles Marini is proud to portray a French resistance fighter in the World War II film Murder Company. Based on true events, Marini dedicated his performance to the people who proudly served during the war.
The film stars William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), Pooch Hall (Pooch Hall, Hood of Horror), Marini, Joe Anderson (Across the Universe, The Crazies), and Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier).

In the midst of the D-Day invasion, a group of US soldiers are given orders to smuggle a member of the Franch resistance behind enemy lines to assassinate a high-value Nazi target.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with Gilles Marini, who played the French resistance fighter Daquin.
Gilles Marini was born in France and has Greek and Italian heritage. He was discovered by fashion photographer Fred Goudon and started off with a modeling career. After numerous campaigns, he relocated to the United States to shift his career into acting. He received countless small roles, including a cameo in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End with Johnny Depp. His big break came as Dante in Sex in the City: The Movie, and he later achieved additional fame as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. His other notable roles included Brothers & Sisters, Switched at Birth, Two Broke Girls, Teen Wolf, Castle, Modern Family, Dare Devil, Devious Maid, and Hot in Cleveland,to name a few.
Murder Company is in select theaters, On Demand, and available digitally on July 5th.
