In My Animal, two young women flirt with sexual tensions, with one carrying a deep, dark secret of being a werewolf.
The film stars Bobbi Salvör Menuez (Euphoria), Amandla Stenberg (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Heidi von Palleske (Rabid), Cory Lipman (The Apprentice), Charlie & Harrison Halpenny, Joe Apollonio (Betty), Scott Thompson (Fubar), Dean McDermott (Pretty Hard Cases), and Stephen McHattie (Essex County).
Jacqueline Castel directed the film from the screenplay written by Jae Matthews.
Here is the synopsis for My Animal:
Bobbi Salvör Menuez and Amandla Stenberg ignite this genre-bending supernatural love story. Tormented by a hidden family curse, Heather is forced to live a secluded life on the outskirts of a small town. When she falls for the rebellious Jonny, their connection threatens to unravel Heather’s suppressed desires, tempting her to unleash the animal within.

Jacqueline Castel makes her feature film directorial debut with My Animal. She directed a few short films that included Now Wakes the Sea, The Puppet Man, Twelve Dark Noons, and the music video Alan Vega: Nike Soldier.
My Animal is currently in select theaters and will be available digitally on Friday, September 15.
