While 2020 has been a tumultuous year for most AppleTV+ has done well. Shows like Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet and Ted Lasso has brought the small streaming service new subscribers with its comedy and original content. A show that follows the lives behind a video game studio doesn’t seem like it would have a big audience but it became one of the biggest shows on AppleTV+ this year. With an increasing popularity over the season it was a shoe-in to get a second season.
According to FTIA shooting for season 2 of Mythic Quest is scheduled to begin November 30th in Los Angeles, California. This is great news for fans of the AppleTV+ show as everything seems on track for a 2021 premiere date. The hope is to have production done within the early part of 2021 and premiere in the second half of the year.
