It’s been twenty years since the buddy inspectors of Nash Bridges and Joe Dominguez appeared on the small screen with Nash Bridges television series. Now they’re reunited for a special movie event for USA Network on September 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The made-for-television movie brings back the original cast members of Don Johnson and Cheech Marin as the elite investigators for the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit.
The movie cast also includes Joe Dinicol, Diarra Kilpatrick, Angela Ko, Paul James, Alexia Garcia, Bonnie Sommerville, and Jeff Perry.
The television movie is still keeping its plot details under wraps. The reunion was announced back in 2019, and rumors claimed the two-hour television special could be an indirect pilot for a revival television series.

This Nash Bridges film is written by Bill Chais (Franklin & Bash, Chicago Justice) and directed by Greg Beeman, who directed fourteen episodes of the original series. Don Johnson, Bill Chais, Greg Beeman, and Carlton Cuse are all executive producers on the project.
Nonetheless, Nash Bridges aired for six seasons from 1996 to 2001 that was created by Carlton Cuse. The show worked well because both police officers use their humor and wisecracking dialogue while they’re solving cases. The series originally aired on CBS.
However, the best part for this reunion, that the 1971 Plymouth Barracuda convertible appears to make its comeback into the series.
