Natasha Kermani is the director of the latest Brea Grant film Lucky.
The Synopsis:
Life takes a sudden turn for May (Brea Grant, “12 Hour Shift”), a popular self-help book author, when she finds herself the target of a mysterious man with murderous intentions. Every night without fail, he comes after her, and every day the people around her barely seem to notice. With no one to turn to, May is pushed to her limits and must take matters into her own hands to survive and to regain control of her life.
Natasha Kermani is a graduate from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She has directed brand content and commercials for clients like NYDJ, Microsoft, Vox, ThirdLove and others. After working in short films she directed her first full length film with Shattered. Shortly after she wrote and directed Imitation Girl. Her work has been seen in television series like Cat Planer, The Mentors and Let’s Fall Out.

I was connected with Natasha Kermani via Zoom to talk about Lucky. She shared about fighting to keep the title and some hints in the film. In addition to working with Brea Grant and if it had been planned for her to play the protagonist role plus more.
