With country music legend and television star in her own right, Reba McEntire returns to the small screen with a new NBC sitcom, Happy’s Place.
The new comedy series reunites McEntire with former Reba co-star Melissa Peterman in this hilarious ensemble cast of a woman operating a tavern after inheritance and a newfound discovery of a sister in the family.
The cast also includes Rex Linn, Tokala Black Elk, and up-and-coming young actress Belissa Escobedo.
Here is the official synopsis:
Bobbie (Reba McEntire) inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister that she never knew she had.

Belissa Escobedo made her television debut in 2020 in the breakout role of Natalie Garcia in the romantic comedy series The Baker and the Beauty. Later, she appeared in a couple of American Horror Stories episodesand the Quibi short episodic series Don’t Look Deeper. On film, she starred in the anticipated sequel Hocus Pocus 2 and the comic book blockbuster film Blue Beetle last year.
Happy’s Place premieres on NBC on Friday, October 18.
